Briar Nolet

Briar Anne Nolet (born December 27, 1998 in Oakville , Canada ) is a Canadian dancer and actress . She was best known for her role as Richelle in the series The Next Step of the Canadian broadcaster Family Channel , as well as for her participation in the third season of World of Dance .

Nolet started dancing at the age of seven and competed in dance competitions across Canada in the years that followed. In 2014 she had her first appearance as Richelle in the series The Next Step on the Family Channel . As part of Next Step, Nolet toured Canada, Australia and the UK.

In 2017, Nolet applied for the first season of the NBC dance series World of Dance , but was not accepted. She finally competed in season three in 2019, reaching fifth place. She was then invited by jury member Jennifer Lopez to perform on her "It's My Party" tour.

Nolet has been in a relationship with Myles Erlick, a colleague of The Next Step , since she was 13 . While attending World of Dance , she made public that she had had seizures since she was 16, initially diagnosed as anxiety, but diagnosed as epilepsy by the age of 19 .
