Brigdamme is a place in the Dutch province of Zeeland and a formerly independent municipality that was merged with Sint Laurens in 1816 . Brigdamme is located south of Sint Laurens on the road to Middelburg .
Brigdamme developed around a chapel dedicated to Saint Brigitta , which was replaced by a larger church around 1245. This church has also been demolished in the meantime.
