The Briggs Point is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located on the east side of Godthul Bay, southwest of Cape George .
Briggs Point appears for the first time on map material that was created in the course of the British Discovery Investigations in 1929. The namesake is likely AC Briggs, a member of the survey team.
