Brigitta Doris Heemann (born August 18, 1949 in Helmstedt ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school with a high school diploma , she completed a commercial apprenticeship . She was then a candidate for civil servants and, after completing this training, a tax officer.

Heemann has been a member of the SPD since 1972. She was and is represented in numerous bodies of the SPD, such as B. from 1984 to 1999 chairwoman of the sub-district executive committee of the working group of social democratic women. She is also a member of the workers' welfare organization .

Heemann was a member from May 30, 1985 to May 30, 1990, from May 1, 1991 to May 31, 1995, from April 28, 1998 to June 1, 2000 and from January 25, 2005 to June 2, 2005 of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . She was directly elected in the tenth electoral term in constituency 140 Soest I. In the eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth electoral terms she moved up on her party's reserve list.

Honors
