Brigitte Dmoch-Schweren (born May 30, 1956 in Frechen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Dmoch-Schweren is the managing director of the Rhein-Erft joint welfare association and a member of the mining, chemical and energy industrial union . She belongs to the Frechen city council and the district council of the Rhein-Erft district . In the city council she was chairman of the committee for school and youth welfare until 2012, in the district council she headed the social committee.

In the state elections in 2010, Dmoch-Schweren stood for the direct mandate in the constituency of Rhein-Erft-Kreis II , but was narrowly defeated by the CDU candidate , Rita Klöpper . In 2012 she faced Klöpper again and this time won the direct mandate in the state parliament . She was a member of the Legal Committee, the School Committee, and the Culture Committee. She is no longer a member of the state parliament elected in 2017.

Dmoch-Schweren is married and has one daughter.
