Brigitte Hirzel

Brigitte Hirzel (* around 1966 ) is a former Swiss table tennis player and official.

Life

Brigitte Hirzel already won numerous titles at the Swiss championships in the youth field.

Brigitte Hirzel first drew attention to herself in the adult sector in the early 1980s. At that time she played with the women's team from Wollerau in the National League A and had won all games here until December 1983. At the end of 1983 she took part in the Swiss championship 1983/84. In this first SM appearance she won all three titles, namely in singles, doubles with Monika Frey and mixed with Stefan Renold . In 1985 and 1988 she was again Swiss individual champion.

Brigitte Hirzel represented Switzerland at the European Championships in 1980 , 1984 and 1988 and at the World Championships in 1985 and 1987 , but never came close to medal ranks.

Today (March 2019) Brigitte Hirzel is President of the Table Tennis Association Central Switzerland (TTVI).
