Brigitte Renner

Brigitte Renner (born August 8, 1925 in Gotha ) is a German actress .

Life

From 1945 Renner stood on various stages in the GDR , including in Chemnitz , Halberstadt , Eisenach and Dessau , until a serious operation forced her to take a break. Afterwards she worked as a freelance speaker with solo performances and led through the program of concerts with singers, chamber music orchestras and choirs. Brigitte Renner has lived in a retirement home for stage artists in Weimar since 1993 .

Her role as inmate Margarethe “Mutz” Korsch in the television series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast was her first and last major television role from 1997 to 2000. In 2000 she could still be seen as Klara Nilsson in Good Times, Bad Times . She had to quit behind bars because of a back problem, but the operation was successful. After leaving the series, she was there in two episodes in 2000 and 2002 in a guest role. In 2005, Brigitte Renner appeared in the TV production The Most Beautiful Years .
