Brigitte Thiriet

Brigitte Thiriet (born August 11, 1956 ) is a French table tennis player . She won bronze in doubles at the 1976 European Championships.

Thiriet is left-handed. She won 20 titles at the French national championships , three of them in singles (1976, 1978, 1986), thirteen in doubles (1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991) and four in mixed (1981, 1982, 1986, 1987). Between 1975 and 1989 she took part in seven world championships . She has been nominated four times for European championships . Her best result was winning the bronze medal in doubles with Claude Bergeret at the 1976 European Championship .

From 1981 to 1986 Thiriet played in the German Bundesliga with the club DSC Kaiserberg , then she returned to France.
