Claude Bergeret
Claude Bergeret (born October 19, 1954 ) is a French table tennis player and official. She was one of the top players in France in the 1970s and won the mixed world championship.
Life
Bergeret won the title six times in the national French championships in singles (1972–1975, 1977, 1983), six times in doubles (1972–1976, 1982) and seven times in mixed. With ASPTT Annecy, she was French team champion in 1982. Between 1969 and 1982 she took part in seven world championships , six European championships and four ranking tournaments Europe TOP-12 .
At the European Championships in 1974 she reached the semi-finals in a mixed with Jacques Secrétin . In 1976 , the same mixed pairing also reached the semi-finals, in doubles they also came under the last four with Brigitte Thiriet . At the 1977 World Cup she won the mixed world title with Jacques Secrétin.
In 2000, Bergeret became Vice President of the European Table Tennis Association ETTU . In 2003 she was honored with the ITTF Merit Award for her services .

For the 50th anniversary of the French table tennis federation FFTT in 1977 and to win the table tennis world championship in 1977 in Birmingham in the mixed of Jacques Secrétin and Claude Bergeret, a postage stamp for 1.10 France was issued by the French post on December 17, 1977 (Michel no . 2060). There was also a special cancellation in Paris on the first day of this stamp with a picture of a table tennis bat.
