The Bristol 410 is a two-door sedan produced by the British car manufacturer Bristol Cars Ltd. which was produced from 1967 to 1969.

Model history

In the 1960s, Bristol had a policy of incremental development. The vehicles were continuously improved - mostly every two years - without, however, making any significant external or conceptual changes; the company relied on constancy in this respect. Accordingly, the Bristol 410 presented in autumn 1967 only differed from its predecessor in details.

The main difference concerned the design of the front section. It was more aerodynamic overall. The radiator grille now stretched across the entire width of the vehicle, and the headlights were integrated into the fenders. The technology of the car was only changed in detail. There were smaller wheels that lowered the car's center of gravity and increased agility. The brake system was also revised and the gearbox was given a traditional gearshift lever in the center console area, as the push-button operation previously used had proven to be an accident risk. The power steering, which was previously an extra, was now part of the standard equipment.

The Bristol 410 sold for £ 5,600 when it was launched in the fall of 1967.

In the almost two years of production, 79 examples of the Bristol 410 were built.

Trivia

Nathaniel Parker drives a Bristol Type 410 in traditional dark red on the British crime television series Inspector Lynley . This vehicle was put up for sale (again) by Bristol Cars in the fall of 2009.
