The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) is the governing body of professional boxing in Great Britain . It was founded in 1929 by the old National Sporting Club and is headquartered in the Welsh capital, Cardiff .

The BBBofC is one of several associations that are associated with the WBC and one of the world's best-known and most important national associations in professional boxing . In this area, among other things, the title of British and English champion in the respective weight classes is awarded.

Charles Giles is the current President and Robert Smith is the current Secretary General.
