Broadmoor Trophy
The Broadmoor Trophy is an award from the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). It has been awarded annually to the WCHA play-off winner since 1985 and thus functions as a WCHA championship trophy. It was introduced in 1981 and initially served as an award for the best points team of the regular season of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Broadmoor Trophy is named after the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs in the US state of Colorado , which has sponsored and supported college ice hockey for many years.
