The Brockenfelsen is a 685 m high rock formation in the northern Black Forest west of the Bühlerhöhe .
The Brockenfelsen is part of a larger rock formation, which consists of Bühlertal granite and stands out around 20 m from the surroundings. It is designated as a natural monument and as a geotope .
If you follow the hiking trails from Plättig to the Falkenfelsen with the Hertahütte , you will reach the Brockenfelsen after the hiking trails have merged. From there you have a beautiful view over the Hornisgrinde and the Bühlertal .
