The Brodschelm Transport Company Ltd. is one of the operators of the regional Busverkehres in the counties of Altötting , Mühldorf , Rottal-Inn , the district of Traunstein and Berchtesgadener Land . In addition, Brodschelm operates the city traffic in Burghausen and Simbach am Inn and rental cars with buses.
history
The company was founded in 1923 by Maria and Josef Brodschelm. Stadtverkehr Burghausen was bought and taken over in 1933. Rush hour traffic for the companies Wacker Chemie in Burghausen and Hoechst in Burgkirchen began in 1941. The first lines in Chiemgau were opened in 1955. The current managing director Heino Brodschelm joined the company in 1967. In 1990 the city bus in Burghausen was introduced with three lines. Heino Brodschelm took over the management of Maria Brodschelm in 1995. The new depot in Burghausen was inaugurated in 1998 and then put into operation. In the same year, the regular service in the Mühldorf area was taken over. In 2008 a new additional depot was put into operation in Mühldorf. Isabelle Brodschelm takes over the management in 2013. In 2018, a new depot will be built in Kirchdorf am Inn and the first two electric buses will go into operation.
