Broken Back
Broken Back (born August 10, 1990 in Saint-Malo , France , real name Jérôme Louis Robert Fagnet ) is a French musician .
Career
Fagnet studied from 2010 to 2014 at EDHEC Business School in Lille , where he completed his Masters in Business and Management . Meanwhile, in 2012, he had to sit out for several months due to a slipped vertebra , hence his stage name. He used his free time to play the guitar and work as a songwriter . He offered his resulting songs for free on Soundcloud .
In 2014 Klingande noticed him and together with him they produced the song Riva (Restart the Game) . This was published in spring 2015 and was able to enter the top ten of all three music charts in German-speaking countries and also celebrate successes in other European countries. His first solo single Halcyon Birds was featured on the French streaming charts for 77 weeks from 2015 to 2017 .
