Bromölla is a place ( Swedish tatort ) in the Swedish province of Skåne län and the capital of the municipality of the same name .

In 1942 Bromölla was raised to a minority town (köping) .

On Tiansväg, in the built-up area, is the Bromölla stone box , probably from the Neolithic Age. In 1915 a piece of flint and half of a stone ax are said to have been found in the stone box .
