Bronislovas Genzelis

Bronislovas Genzelis (born February 16, 1934 in Aukštadvaris , Trakai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and philosopher .

Life

From 1942 to 1946 he studied at the Alytus school , from 1946 to 1954 at the Kaišiadorys grammar school . From 1954 to 1959 he completed his diploma in philosophy at Lomonosov University in Moscow . From 1959 to 1961 he taught at the Šiaulių pedagoginis institutas . From 1961 to 1964 he studied at the Lietuvos istorijos institutas as an apprentice and in 1974 received his doctorate in philosophy. From 1964 to 1992 he taught at the Vilniaus universitetas , from 1976 as a professor , from 1997 at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas (VDU). From 1989 he was People's Deputy in the Supreme Council of the Soviet Union , selected Kretinga . From 1990 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .

From 1958 to 1990 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1989 to 1990 a member of the Central Committee of the Lietuvos komunistų partija . From 1988 to 1990 he was a member of Sąjūdis , from 1990 the LDDP .
