Bronwyn Cox

Bronwyn Cox (born April 19, 1997 ) is an Australian rower . In 2019 she finished second in the eighth championship .

Athletic career

Bronwyn Cox and Annabelle McIntyre finished second at the 2017 U23 World Championships in a pair without a helmsman . At the World Cup 2018 in Lucerne she reached sixth place together with Giorgia Patten . Patten and Cox were fifth in the 2018 U23 World Championships.

In 2019, Cox switched to the Australian eighth and won the World Cup in Poznan, in Rotterdam the Australians finished second behind the New Zealanders. At the World Championships in Linz , the eighth from New Zealand won ahead of the boats from Australia and the United States. The 2019 Australian eight rowed with Leah Saunders , Jacinta Edmunds , Bronwyn Cox, Georgina Rowe , Rosemary Popa , Annabelle McIntyre, Jessica Morrison , Molly Goodman and helmsman James Rook

The approximately 1.77 m tall Bronwyn Cox starts for the University of Western Australia .
