Broom Bezzums is an English music duo based in Germany . It plays a mixture of traditionals , original compositions and instrumental pieces.

history

Andrew Cadie studied folk music in Newcastle, northern England . He played in several groups in England before moving to Germany after graduating. Mark Bloomer was a professional drummer before he found folk music in Ireland.

Broom Bezzums was founded in 2005 by the two musicians. It arose from working together on many sessions . It appeared at several folk festivals, including at TFF Rudolstadt and at Folk im Schlosshof .

In 2015, the group played live on German television at SWR coffee or tea and appeared for a couch talk with Martin Seidler at SWR Landesschau on September 21, 2015.
