Playhead is a band . It emerged from the composition of the Italian duo Brothers , which was founded by Walter Mangione and Gabriele Pastori ( Brothers ) two producers and DJs and with the addition of Domenico Santoro ( keyboard / instrumentalist) and Carlo Motta ( singer / songwriter ). Brothers was founded in Milan and was one of the most successful Italian music groups in the field of electronic music until it was renamed Playhead.

history

Brothers

Pastori and Mangione founded Brothers at the time when Italian disco music was topping the charts across Europe . The duo celebrated their greatest successes with the songs "Sexy Girl" , "The Moon" and "Dieci Cento Mille" . The latter song was also used in the soundtrack of the video game FIFA 2005 from EA Sports added. The duo released an album called Dieci Cento Mille which includes the songs above. In addition, "Sexy Girl" , "The Moon" and "Dieci Cento Mille" are included in several Italo-Dance-Split-Albums.

2006: Foundation of the Playhead group

When musical tastes changed in Europe, pianist Domenico Santoro, born in 1985, joined the duo. In 2006 the trio tried several music genres from pop to dance . A year later (2007) the group decided to play music in the electronic direction . Looking for a singer, a competition was published on the Internet and in June of the same year, the singer, Carlo Motta, was found. Motta was previously the singer of the rock band Lust Wave . In 2008 the newly founded quartet worked on their debut album, "Nothing to Change" . Previously, the band signed a contract with the Viola Pop Records label .

Since the founding of the band Playhead, the music style has varied between electronic , club and synth pop . In every song on the debut album, the different musical styles can be clearly heard.

2004: Dieci Cento Mille (Brothers)

Dieci Cento Mille is the first and so far only album by the Italian duo Brothers. It was released between 2003 and 2006. The album contains 11 songs, including "The Moon" , "Dieci Cento Mille" and "Sexy Girl" . All songs (except "Dieci Cento Mille" , "The Moon" and "Sexy Girl" ) are sung in English . A year later a best-of album with 14 tracks was released, with only 3 songs ( "Don't Stop" [normal and as extended version ] and "Memories" as extended version) being re-recorded.

2005: The Ultimate Collection (Best Of Brothers)

The Ultimate Collection is the best-of album by the duo Brothers, released in 2005, which contains 14 tracks (11 songs from the debut album and the song "Don't Stop" as radio edit and extended version as well as an extended version of the Songs "Memories" ). The running time of the album is approx. 71 minutes.

2008: Nothing to Change (Playhead)

Nothing to Change is the debut album of the band Playhead , which was formed from the composition of the band Brothers and the addition of Domenico Santoro and Carlo Motta . It was released in 2008, contains ten songs and was released by the Viola Pop Records label. The album can be downloaded from iTunes , among other places.
