Bru (Bruu, Van Kieu) is a language that is mainly spoken by the Bru people, whose members settle in Vietnam , Laos and Thailand .

Bru belongs to the group of Katu languages in the Mon-Khmer language family , which in turn belongs to the Austro-Asian languages . The language is divided into two main branches: the Eastern and the Western Bru, which is spoken by a few speakers in Thailand and Laos.
