Bruce Jones

Bruce Jones (born 1944) is an American comic book and screenwriter .

Jones' activity as a writer began in 1970 in New York City , where he drew and wrote for the comic book Web of Horror , then he wrote for the magazines Creepy and Eerie horror comics. This was followed by episodes of Ka-Zar and Conan the Barbarian for Marvel Comics . From 1982 he formed an author duo with his wife April Campbell . The magazine series Twisted Tales , Alien Worlds , Somerset Holmes and Silverheels appeared according to their scenarios. From 1986, the couple made screenplays for television, including episodes for The Hitchhiker and the cartoon Dennis based on the comics by Hank Ketcham .

In 1986 Jones wrote for Richard Corben's miniseries RIP in Time . In the early 1990s, he wrote the scenarios for the Flash Gordon newspaper comics. From 2001 he wrote for the comic series Hulk .
