Brunhilde Lenk
Brunhilde Lenk (born October 21, 1903 in Vienna ; † before May 31, 1983 ) was an Austrian ancient historian .
Brunhilde steering studied history and classical philology at the University of Vienna , arriving on March 25, 1927 at Josef Keil with a dissertation on the history of Asia Minor city of Heraclea on the Pontus Dr. phil. received his doctorate . Then she worked in the school service. As an ancient historian, she wrote a number of studies, for example on the tyrants of Herakleia on the Pontus, on Emperor Julian's ideas of the sun god and on the tribes and topography of the Black Sea region . She has written several articles for Pauly's Real Encyclopedia of Classical Antiquity (RE), including a review article on the history and inhabitants of Thrace .
