Brunnenkirche

Well church ( well chapel , Bründelkirche , Bründkapelle ) are churches that are connected to a spring when it is said to have a miracle activity. These churches are often also Marienkirchen , since the “source [of life]” is one of the attributes of Mary (Maria Brunn / Bründl) . They stand in the tradition of the spring shrines .
