Bruno Blum
Bruno Blum (born October 9, 1939 in Eigenheim , Bessarabia , Romania ; † August 9, 2017 ) was a German physiotherapist.
Career
From 1973, Blum lived with his wife in Eching and worked as a masseur and medical lifeguard.
In 1971 he founded the German Society for Sports Physiotherapy . He became a masseur and sports physiotherapist for the German national swimming team and accompanied the team to nine Olympic Games and World and European Championships between 1972 and 2008 .
In 1974 he founded the state-recognized vocational school for massage / physical therapy in Munich, where he also taught. From 1975 to 2011 he was President of the Association of Physical Therapy (VPT).
He is the author of several books on sports physiotherapy.
