Bruno Corelli (born August 20, 1918 in Bologna , † February 17, 1983 in Tunis ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Corelli was an avid amateur actor who moved to Rome to study representation at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia . With some of his fellow course colleagues there, he was hired by Carmine Gallone in 1938 for his film Drei Frauen um Verdi . After this engagement, Corelli broke off his training and appeared for about ten years as a stage actor in prose pieces and revues, in which he was valued for his humor and his skills as a pantomime and dancer. He then began extensive activity as a supporting actor in Italian films, which lasted until 1963, mostly in sympathetic and funny roles with rough and also suggestive jokes, but never got it to lead roles.
