Bruno Franz Decker
Bruno Franz Decker (born September 14, 1907 in Berlin , † November 2, 1961 in Mainz ) was a German theologian and priest.
Life
He studied philosophy and Catholic theology at the University of Breslau (1926–1930), at the University of Innsbruck (1930–1931) and at the Pontifical University of Angelicum (1935–1939). After receiving his doctorate in 1939 from the Pontifical University Angelicum in Rome, becoming a Dr. theol. and doctorate in 1940 in Breslau, Dr. theol. (Since his doctorate was not recognized at the Pontifical University in Germany, he did his doctorate again with the same thesis in Breslau.) From 1950 to 1952 he was assistant at the University of Cologne at the Thomas Institute . After his habilitation at the University of Mainz in 1955, he was Professor of Dogmatics there from 1957 to 1961 .
