Bruno II von Porstendorf (* before 1209; † December 4, 1228 ) was Bishop of Meissen from 1209 to 1228.

Bruno II., In older ranks of bishops wrongly also Bruno III. , was one of the actors involved in the development of the state in Upper Lusatia , alongside the Bohemian kings . On the one hand, the largest part of the property complex of the Meißner Hochstift was located here ; on the other hand, the Meißner bishop wanted to secure his power over the Bohemians in Upper Lusatia.

He became at the instigation of Pope Gregory IX. , probably because of his ruthless behavior, removed from his office in 1228 and died on December 4, 1228. His body was buried in the crypt of the choir of the collegiate church in Bautzen - he founded the collegiate monastery between 1213 and 1218 himself.

In 1225, Bishop Bruno II consecrated St. George's Chapel in the Matthias Tower of the Ortenburg in Bautzen .
