Bruno Krug
Erdmann Gustav Bruno Krug (born September 27, 1874 in Leipzig , † September 3, 1964 in Annaberg-Buchholz ) was a German local politician. From 1914 to 1934 he was the first mayor of the city of Annaberg in the Saxon Ore Mountains .
Life
The PhD Krug, who had been working successfully as Mayor of Annaberg since 1914, was urged by the NSDAP to resign voluntarily . So he made the application for retirement on October 1, 1934, which was approved by the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior. This enabled the old fighter Max Dietze to take over the office of First Mayor in Annaberg without any problems.
