Bruno Moeller (politician)

Bruno Moeller (born July 6, 1887 in Elbing ; † January 5, 1964 in Leverkusen ) was a German politician (DRP). From 1955 to 1959 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Life

Moeller attended secondary school from 1893 to 1905 , then from 1905 to 1910 the technical college. He graduated as a graduate engineer. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War. From 1919 he was operations director of the Gute-Hoffnungs-Hütte in Oberhausen.

From January 1, 1929 to March 31, 1934, Moeller was director or on the board of Dinglerschen Maschinen Fabrik AG (Zweibrücken / Pfalz and Bierbach / Saar). From April 1, 1934 to June 30, 1935 he was managing director of the Ostdeutsche Stahlbaugesellschaft mbH, Königsberg of the Vereinigte Stahlwerke AG , Düsseldorf. From July 1, 1935 to June 30, 1937 he was director of the Donnersmarck-Hütte, Hindenburg OS of the United Oberschlesischen Hüttenwerke AG. From July 1, 1937 to December 31, 1945 he was director of the Nordseewerke Emden GmbH (deposed in 1945 by the Allies and then from then Member of the supervisory board).

Until 1933 Moeller was a member of the DNVP and from 1930 to 1934 in the Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten , in which he achieved the rank of district leader. From 1934 to 1942 he was a member of the SA , in which he reached the rank of SA Obertruppführer. On May 1, 1937, he became a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 4,934,514). He was also a member of the DAF .

In 1952 he was elected to the city council of Emden, where he was mayor and senator for construction. In the third electoral term Moeller was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from 1955 to 1959, from May 6, 1955 to November 4, 1957 as a member of the DRP parliamentary group and from November 5, 1957 to June 2, 1958 as a guest of the FDP-GB / BHE parliamentary group, from May 6, 1958 to May 5, 1959 as a non-attached DRP member. In the state parliament he was from December 4, 1957 to May 5, 1959 a member of the Committee for Development and Settlement and the Committee for Deep Sea Fisheries.
