Bruno Mossa de Rezende , called Bruninho (born July 2, 1986 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

2009 with the national team

Bruno Rezende is the son of two Olympians. His father Bernardo Rezende won silver in Los Angeles in 1984 and is now the coach of the Brazilian national team ; his mother Vera Mossa took part in the Olympic tournament in 1980, 1984 and 1988. His own career began in 1998 with the Rio Fluminense youth team . In 2002 the player switched to Unisul Florianopolis . In 2005 he became vice world champion with the Brazilian juniors. He then played for Cimed Florianópolis . With the new club he won the Brazilian championship in 2006. In the same year he made his debut in the senior national team that won the world league . In 2007 he defended his title in the world league . In addition, the Brazilians won the Pan American Games in front of their home crowd and won the World Cup . In 2008 Rezende took part in the Olympic tournament in Beijing after winning the league again; the Brazilians only lost to the USA in the final . In 2009 and 2010 Brazil won two more world league titles with Rezende. On April 1, 2011, the setter switched to the Italian first division club Casa Modena during the season . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , he again won the silver medal with Brazil.
