Gross Sura
Quintus Bruttius Sura ("Wade") was a Roman officer who lived in the 1st century BC. Lived. He was in the First Mithridatic War of 88 BC. BC to 87 BC BC Legate of the Praetor Gaius Sentius . In this office he defeated the general Metrophanes and occupied the island of Skiathos . In the winter of 88/87 he fought for three days at Chaironeia against Archelaus and Aristion and then withdrew to Macedonia.
