Bryan Merrett
Bryan Merrett (born November 1, 1934 , † August 2001) was an English table tennis player and coach. In the 1950s and 1960s he completed more than 100 international assignments.
Career
Bryan Merrett was first used internationally in January 1952. In 1960 he was number 1 in the English rankings. At the national English championships he won singles in 1960 and doubles in 1961 with Ian Harrison . Several times he took part in European and world championships . He won bronze with the English team at the 1955 World Cup and the 1960 European Championship .
In the 1970s, Bryan Merrett coached the England national team.
Private
Bryan Merrett was married. He had a daughter.
