Bryan Staring

Bryan Staring (born June 1, 1987 in Perth ) is an Australian motorcycle racer .

Career

In 2004 Staring became champion of the Australian 125 cc championship. In the same year he took part as a wildcard driver in this class in his home race in Australia for the motorcycle world championship and crossed the finish line in 29th place.

In 2009 he won the title in the Australian Supersport Championship . In 2010 he became champion in the Australian Superbike Championship . Because of these successes, he was awarded the Australian Rider of the Year Award 2010 .

In 2011 Staring drove for the Italian team Pedercini in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup . With 56 points, he finished eleventh in the final ranking. At the same time, he took part in two wildcard appearances in the Superbike World Championship this year . In 2012 Staring was runner-up in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup with three wins behind Sylvain Barrier . As in the previous year, Staring took part in two wildcard appearances in the Superbike World Championship this year.

For 2013 he received a regular place in the MotoGP class from the GO & FUN Honda Gresini team .

In the 2018 season he took part in the motorcycle world championship again after a five-year break and drove his home race in Australia in the Moto2 class for Tech 3.
