Buch is a district of the Illerkirchberg community in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The hamlet is about half a kilometer southwest of Oberkirchberg .
history
Buch is first mentioned in a document in 1275. The place belonged to the county of Kirchberg . The Wiblingen Monastery acquired rights and goods since the 14th century and had jurisdiction over its mill and several goods in the 18th century .
In the course of the regional reform of Baden-Württemberg, Buch came to the newly founded municipality Illerkirchberg on April 1, 1972 through the voluntary amalgamation of the then independent municipalities of Oberkirchberg, to which it belonged, and Unterkirchberg.
