Buchpöllnitz

Buchpöllnitz is a hamlet belonging to the town of Triptis in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

Buchpöllnitz is located between Mühlpöllnitz and Oberpöllnitz , flanked to the south by the Saalfeld - Gera railway line and east by the Großer Teich am Pöllnitzbach. Steinpöllnitz is located south of the railway line .

history

Buchpöllnitz was first mentioned in a document in 1814. The story is likely to be closely linked to Ober- and Mühlpöllnitz. Buchpöllnitz was incorporated into Triptis on July 1, 1950 together with Oberpöllnitz.
