The Bay of Maeoe lies on the road from Roti , in the north of the island of Roti , leading to the Lesser Sunda Islands belongs. The bay separates Rotis Peninsula Tapuafu from Usu Island in the south. In the bay, near the Rotis coast in the west, is the island of Boti with other small islets. To the east the bay opens to the Strait of Roti, in the southwest the entrance to the Strait of Usu opens .
