The bay of Tsambika is an approximately two kilometer long, natural bay. It is located on the east coast of the Greek island of Rhodes on the Levant Sea . Located between Kolymbia and Archangelos , it is about 25 kilometers from the island's capital, the city of Rhodes .
According to legend, fishermen found an icon on the beach in the bay . This miraculous, recurring discovery motivated the founding and construction of the Tsambika monastery on the steep slope to the north of the bay.
The beach in Tsambika Bay is often considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
