Budhana ( Hindi बुढाना ) is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
The city is part of the Muzaffarnagar district . Budhana has the status of a small town ( Nagar Panchayat ). The city is divided into 18 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 53,722 inhabitants, of which 28,180 were men and 25,542 women. The literacy rate in 2011 was 64.8%.
