IC 1527 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is around 390 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 150,000 light years. 
The galaxies NGC 7811 , IC 5374 , IC 5375 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on August 19, 1892 .
