NGC 7811 is an irregular galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Im in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 347 million light years from the Milky Way and about 40,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7809 and IC 1527 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on October 5, 1864 .
