NGC 7805 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is an estimated 223 million light years away from the Milky Way and is around 75,000 light years in diameter. The galaxy is considered a member of the NGC 7831 group ( LGG 1 ). Together with NGC 7806, the gravitationally bound pair Arp 112 , KPG 602A or Holm 826A .

Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of elliptical galaxies that repel spiral arms (Arp catalog) .

The object was discovered on October 9, 1790 by Wilhelm Herschel with his 18.7-inch reflector telescope and later included in his New General Catalog by Johan Dreyer .
