Arp 126 = UGC 1449 is an interacting pair of galaxies in the constellation Pisces , which is about 250 million light years from the Milky Way. Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of elliptical galaxies close to spiral galaxies and disturbing them (Arp catalog) .
