Arp 121 is an interacting galaxy pair in the constellation Cetus , composed of a lenticular galaxy and a spiral galaxy. Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of elliptical galaxies close to and interfering with spiral galaxies .
