Arp 109 = UGC 10053 is an interacting galaxy pair in the constellation Draco . It is probably in gravitational interaction with the elliptical galaxy PGC 56063 and forms the galaxy pair Arp 109 . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of elliptical galaxies that repel spiral arms (Arp catalog) .
