Arp 119 is an interacting pair of galaxies in the constellation Pisces , made up of an elliptical galaxy and a bar-spiral galaxy. Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of elliptical galaxies close to and interfering with spiral galaxies .
