Luana Flütsch (born January 10, 1995 ) is a Swiss ski racer . She is a specialist in downhill , super-G and alpine combined and a member of SC St. Antönien.

biography

Beginnings

Luana Flütsch gained her first experience at the Youth Olympic Games and the European Youth Olympic Festival . In Innsbruck 2012 she finished 10th in the Super-G, 7th place in the combined competition and 8th place in the giant slalom and was eliminated in the 2nd run of the slalom. In Brașov 2013 she retired in the 2nd run of the giant slalom and took 5th place in the slalom.

Flütsch traveled to the World Cup final for the first time in 2013/14 . There she won the team competition with Switzerland , but was not used herself.

She started at the Junior World Championship in Sochi / Rosa Khutor in 2016 . There she took 16th place in the downhill and 24th place in the Super-G and was eliminated in the 1st run of the combined competition and the 1st run of the giant slalom.

Season 2017/18

On January 26th, 2018 Flütsch celebrated her World Cup debut. She was eliminated in the first run of the Lenzerheide combined competition .

Season 2018/19

In 2018/19 Flütsch took 137th place in the overall World Cup and 52nd place in the Downhill World Cup. Previously, she had finished 30th in the downhill from Crans-Montana .
