NGC 7824 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 258 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies NGC 7816 and NGC 7818 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on September 25, 1830 .
