NGC 7821 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 334 million light years from the Milky Way and about 140,000 light years in diameter .

The object was discovered by Ormond Stone on November 3, 1885 .
