NGC 7832 = IC 5386 is an elliptical galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type E5? in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 283 million light years from the Milky Way and about 160,000 ly in diameter.

The object was discovered on September 20, 1784 by William Herschel ( listed as NGC ). Rediscovered by Lewis Swift (listed as IC ) on September 12, 1896 .
